Checklist for Logging In to the Neema App
To ensure a successful login to the Neema app and keep your account safe, verify that your mobile device meets the following setup requirements:
App version: Delete the current Neema app from your phone and re-download the latest version from the App Store (iOS) or Google Play Store (Android).
Network settings: Turn off any active Virtual Private Network (VPN) on your mobile device.
SIM card: Insert a single active Israeli SIM card into your mobile device. Multi-SIM setups or non-Israeli SIM cards can prevent successful log in.
Location and Geo-blocking: The Neema app is accessible within Israel by default. If you are traveling abroad, you must contact Neema support to request removing the geo-block for your current country. Geo-block removal is not available from some countries.
Resolving Verification Code (OTP - one time password) Issues
When logging in to the Neema app, an SMS containing a One-Time Password (OTP) verification code is sent to your registered phone number. If you do not receive the SMS verification code, follow these steps:
Wait a few seconds on the verification screen for the SMS option timer to finish.
Select the option to receive your verification code via WhatsApp. Receiving the code via WhatsApp is faster and avoids SMS delivery delays.
Enter the verification code received in WhatsApp into the Neema app to complete your login.
If you request too many SMS codes and see the message "You reached the limit of receiving SMS for today", wait 24 hours for the limit to reset.
Troubleshooting Login Errors and Account Lockouts
If you encounter errors or get locked out while trying to log in to the Neema app, use the following troubleshooting procedures:
"Oops, something went wrong" error: This error is usually caused by a poor internet connection. Reconnect to a stable Wi-Fi network or switch mobile data off and on. If the error continues, turn off your mobile phone completely for 1 minute, turn it back on, and open the Neema app again. Make sure you have VPN switched off and you have a single active Israeli SIM card into your mobile device
Incorrect Password Lockout (3 Attempts): As a security measure to keep your money safe, entering an incorrect password more than 3 times will lock the Neema app. You will only be able to log in again after 24 hours.
