Current restriction:
Only UAE and Israeli citizens are permitted to send money to the UAE for cash pickup.
Bank account transfers remain unrestricted.
Important note:
For transfers to the UAE, the amount the beneficiary receives must be a whole number with no cents. When sending, enter the exact payout amount in dollars without decimals.
Sending to bank accounts
To send money to a bank account in the UAE, you will need the following beneficiary details:
First name and last name in English
The IBAN of the beneficiary account
ID number from the beneficiary’s local ID card
Expiry date of the beneficiary’s ID card
Local phone number including the international prefix, starting with a + sign
Sending for cash pickup
To send money for cash pickup, the name of the person you are transferring the money to must match the ID of the person who will collect the transfer, do not choose a nickname or a contact name or use initials unless these appear also in the ID card
The beneficiary must bring a valid ID card to the collection point.
Transfer collection
After the transfer is sent, the beneficiary will receive an SMS collection code to the phone number entered when creating the contact. The beneficiary must take this code to the pickup location, present it to the representative, and collect the money.
