Important notes and restrictions
Please make sure the beneficiary account is allowed to receive up to the amount you are trying to transfer. Otherwise, the transfer may not be created or will fail and be refunded to your Neema account.
Sending to bank accounts
Required information of the beneficiary:
Beneficiary full name.
24-digit RIB (Relevé D'Identité Bancaire) account number format:
First 3 digits – bank code
Next 3 digits – location code
Next 16 digits – beneficiary account number
Last 2 digits – check digits
Fee: 1.2% (Minimum $5).
Transaction limit: Maximum 80,000 MAD (~ $7,900) per transaction, per day, and per month; minimum 100 MAD ($10).
Transfer time: Delivery speed T+1 (can take up to 3 business days).
Transaction currency: MAD
Other restrictions for sending:
The RIB is different from an IBAN
Some local banks may charge 20 MAD to receive funds.
Additional information:
Neema offers bank transfers to ALL major licensed banks in Morocco.
The list of banks that can receive a Neema bank transfer is available inside your Neema app. It includes Al Barid, Attijariwafa, BMCE, BMCI, Crédit du Maroc, and Société Générale Maroc.
Sending cash pickup
Required information of the beneficiary:
Beneficiary full name matching their ID.
How to receive the transfer: Present the pickup code received upon completing the transfer and a valid ID at any location of the chosen network.
Transaction limit: Maximum 80,000 MAD (approx. $7,900) per transaction, per day, and per month; minimum 100 MAD (approx. $10).
Transfer time: Available for immediate cash pickup.
Transaction currency: MAD
Other restrictions for sending: The pickup code received is valid at any location of the selected network.
