You can withdraw cash from your Neema card balance at any ATM across Israel. Neema does not operate proprietary ATMs, so you can use any standard bank or independent ATM location.
Before making an ATM withdrawal:
Ensure your Neema card is loaded: Make sure you have sufficient funds loaded on your Neema card (that the money is not on the Neema account balance, but on the Neema card balance)
Locate your PIN code: Ensure you know your 4-digit card PIN code, which can be viewed directly inside the Neema app.
Fees for ATM Withdrawals
When withdrawing cash at an ATM using your Neema card, the following fees apply:
Neema Withdrawal Fee: Neema charges a fee of 0.3% of the total amount withdrawn for each ATM transaction. The fee is not deducted on the day you perform the withdrawal. Instead, it is automatically charged on the 1st day of the following month directly from your Neema account balance (not from your card balance).
Third-Party ATM Operator Fees: Private or independent ATMs (machines not owned by major Israeli banks) may charge an additional operator fee. Always check the fee notice displayed on the ATM screen before confirming your transaction.
Limits for ATM Withdrawals
ATM cash withdrawals using your Neema card are subject to the following standard limits:
Maximum Daily Amount Limit: You can withdraw up to 4,000 ILS per calendar day.
Maximum Daily Transaction Limit: You can perform a maximum of 3 ATM withdrawals per calendar day.
Troubleshooting ATM Withdrawal Issues
If your cash withdrawal attempt is declined or fails at an ATM, follow these troubleshooting steps to resolve the issue:
Verify your PIN code: Open the Neema app and check that you are entering the correct 4-digit PIN code shown under View PIN.
Check your loaded card balance: Ensure that your Neema card has sufficient funds loaded for the withdrawal amount.
Verify daily limits: Confirm that you have not exceeded the daily withdrawal limit of 4,000 ILS or the maximum of 3 withdrawals per day.
Try a major bank ATM: If your PIN code is correct and your card balance is sufficient but the transaction still fails, try using an ATM operated by a major Israeli bank (such as Bank Hapoalim, Bank Leumi, or Bank Mizrahi Tefahot) instead of a private third-party machine.
