I Misplaced or Lost My Neema Card
If you lost your Neema card or misplaced it nearby, you should temporarily block it immediately to keep your money safe while you search for it
Step 1: Place a Temporary Card Block
Follow these steps to place a Temporary Card Block on your Neema card:
Open the Neema app on your mobile device.
Tap Card on the main menu.
Tap Profile.
Select Temporary Card Block.
Choose whether to transfer your remaining money by checking the box to move all funds from your Neema card to your main Neema account balance.
Confirm the temporary block.
Important Rules for Temporary Card Block
The Temporary Card Block prevents all purchases, ATM withdrawals, and card transactions immediately, BUT the monthly card fee continues to be charged even while the Neema card is under a Temporary Card Block.
Step 2: Unblock Your Neema Card (If Found)
If you find your Neema card after enabling a Temporary Card Block, you can unblock it immediately using the Neema app:
Open the Neema app on your mobile device.
Tap Card on the main menu.
Tap Profile.
Select Unblock Card to restore your Neema card to active status.
My Neema Card Was Stolen or Permanently Lost
If your Neema card was stolen, permanently lost, or if you want to cancel your Neema card completely for any other reason, you must request a permanent block. A permanent block cannot be reversed through the app.
How to Request a Permanent Card Block
Please provide the Neema support representative with the reason for your permanent block request (e.g., stolen card, permanently lost card, or account preference).
My Neema Card Was Unexpectedly Blocked
If your Neema card has been blocked automatically without your manual request, your card block is likely due to inactivity or a security measure taken by the card issuer.
Automatic Inactivity Block (More Than 6 Months)
If you do not perform any transactions with your Neema card for more than half a year, your Neema card is blocked automatically by the system to maintain account security.
Blocked by Card Issuer for Suspicious Activity
In rare situations, your Neema card may be blocked directly by the card issuer rather than by Neema.
If the card issuer detects unusual or suspicious transactions on your Neema card, in rare cases the issuer automatically blocks the Neema card to protect your money and prevent fraud
