This article explains how to find transfer fees and rates for international transfers, also a list of supported countries and methods of sending

How to check rates and fees in the Neema app
  1. Open the Neema App.

  2. Tap Rates on the main screen.

  3. Select the Destination Country.

  4. Select the Delivery Method (e.g., Bank Account, Cash Pickup, Digital Wallet).

  5. Select the Sending Currency and Receiving Currency (if multiple options are supported for the route).

  6. Enter either:

    • The amount to send, OR

    • The amount the beneficiary should receive.

  7. View the Exchange Rate at the bottom of the screen.

  8. View the Transfer Fee by toggling on "Include transfer fee" at the bottom of the page.

Currency selection rules

  • Source Balance Debit Logic: You cannot manually choose which wallet balance is used to fund the transfer. The system automatically debits funds based on built-in currency priority rules.

  • Receiving Currency Control: You can manually select the receiving currency only if the recipient country supports multiple payout currencies.

How to save rate for a specific country in the Neema app
  • Tap Add to favorites to save a rate to My Rates (up to 4 saved rates).

  • Tap the Pin icon to pin the currency pair to the Home Screen as your default pair for future app logins.

NOTE: even if you have a foreign currency in your Neema account it is not always possible to receive foreign currency in the destination country. For example, most countries will only accept international transfers to be paid in the local currency
