The extended kyc or we need to know you better step is an Israeli regulatory requirement. Depending on country of origin and/or amount of money already sent Israeli law requires a financial service provider to obtain more information from its customers.

The extra information is collected through questions inside the app, the signature of a beneficiary form, a face to face recognition, and a valid second ID.

Here are the approved second ID options:

  1. Foreign worker employment permit (bearing name and passport number) ;

  2. Visas in the passport of a foreign worker (bearing photo, name and passport number) ;

  3. Application for a work permit - (bearing photo, name, date of birth and passport number) ;

  4. Pay checks ;

  5. Document for payment of property taxes, water, electricity and more (bearing name and address).

  6. Confirmation from the Post Bank regarding the details of the owner of the account.

If you are not able to upload the picture inside the app then you can ask the support team to do it for you. We are reachable inside the chat service or using WhatsApp at this number: +972 52-593-1252

You will know that you need to apply for high amount service if you see this screen inside your app:
