NEEMA offers several options for depositing cash into your account, including the ability to authorize a trusted person to make a deposit on your behalf. Below, we outline the available methods, requirements, and restrictions for third-party cash deposits.

The option will establish a power of attorney document if you want a friend to deposit for you.This document serves as a legal authorization, ensuring that your friend can represent you at the deposit location without any issues.

Your friend MUST already be a NEEMA customer. Additionally, they must present a valid ID at the cash deposit point. If they are not a NEEMA customer then they can make a deposit for you only at the 2 main branches of Neema in the Tel-Aviv bus station or Haifa branch.

Transfers into NEEMA accounts can only be made from within Israel. International transfers, such as from the Philippines to Israel, are not supported.

  1. Log in to your NEEMA app.

  2. Navigate to Deposit > Cash Deposit by Friend.

  3. Enter the amount you want to deposit and follow the instructions inside the app

  4. dont forget to sign in the white box

  5. at the end of the steps your friend will receive a text message with the code and the amount of the deposit that he can then show the teller at the deposit location

Yes, your husband can use the "Friend Deposit" feature to deposit cash on your behalf, provided he has a NEEMA account or goes to one of our own branches. Follow the steps outlined in the "Friend Deposit" section above. Can someone deposit cash into my NEEMA account while I’m abroad? Yes, but only if they use the "Friend Deposit" feature or a bank transfer. Can someone send money to my NEEMA account from outside Israel? No, transfers into NEEMA accounts can only be made from within Israel. International transfers are not supported.
