How to Receive Your Salary Directly to Your Neema Account (Bank Code 21)

Deposit your Salary directly into Neema!

You can now receive your paycheck directly into your Neema app! Neema is officially part of Israel’s banking system with its own national Bank Code (21). This means your employer can transfer your salary straight to your Neema account, just like any standard Israeli bank.

1. How to Apply

This service is currently rolling out to customers.

  1. Open your Neema app home screen.

  2. Look for the green box that says: "Start receiving salary to your account".

  3. Tap the green box and complete the quick registration steps.

(If you don't see the green box yet, don't worry! We are opening this feature to more customers very soon.)

The account details look like this (illustration only):

2. How it Works

1.Get your account details:In the app.

Once approved, you'll receive a unique, personal Neema account number.

2.Share with your employer:Payday setup.

Give your new account number and Bank Code 21 to your employer or HR department.

3.Receive your money:Same business day.

Your employer transfers your salary directly through their bank app or website. Your money will land straight in your Neema account!

3. Transfer Timelines & Limits

  • When does the money arrive? Transfers made during standard banking hours arrive by 11:00 PM on the same business day. Transfers made late at night, on weekends, or during official holidays will arrive on the next business day.

  • Transfer Limit: Automatic transfers are approved up to 70,000 NIS. Any single payment or total balance exceeding 70,000 NIS will undergo a routine manual safety review before reaching your account.

4. Troubleshooting & Why Salaries Get Delayed

If your salary hasn't arrived yet, check these common reasons:

  • Weekends & Holidays: Transfers sent on Friday afternoons, Saturdays, or holidays only process on the following Israeli business day.

  • Incorrect Transfer Method: Ask your employer to send funds using a standard bank transfer, as other fast-payment methods with low limits can cause delays.

  • Postal Bank (DOAR) / Manual Receipts: If your payment requires manual approval or a DOAR receipt upload, make sure to upload your receipt as early as possible. Receipts uploaded after Friday at 1:00 PM are reviewed starting Sunday morning.

  • Typo in Details: Double-check with your employer that your account number and Bank Code (21) were entered correctly.
